Hardwood and basalt tile floors, blue marble counter tops in the kitchen, and stainless steel appliances give this home a clean, comfortable and distinct touch and an authentic west coast feel. The kitchen has all the cooking utensils and supplies needed to make your favourite meals or muffins. A large BBQ is available on the deck as well. Just stock up on all your groceries before coming out so you can enjoy the kitchen and not feel like you have to go anywhere else! The ground floor studio is where you will find a great selection of DVDs to enjoy movie nights, this opens up to a covered lanai where you can have endless hours of fun on the professional size ping pong table. The large 8 person hot tub and outdoor Vancouver Island granite shower is also located on the ground floor. Our home is cozy enough for a romantic get away for 2 yet can accommodate up to 8 comfortably in 3 bedrooms and the studio. There is enough room for the whole family or group of friends to enjoy the common areas, yet the design of the home allows for room to have your own space to unwind. The natural elements of the building materials, architecture and decor work harmoniously to allow you the ideal space to rebalance and re-energize.
Sleep Soundly
We believe that a good retreat starts with multiple nights of deep sleep, for this reason we have selected our bedding to be as natural, eco-conscious and comfortable as possible. The bed frames are hand crafted of cedar wood, our mattresses comfortable and our bedding organic cotton. The zen like minimalist decor and the quiet forested neighbourhood will allow you to experience a deep rejuvenating sleep.
You can either choose to enjoy the panoramic ocean view from the master bedroom upstairs, or close the shutters to have your privacy from the main living space. The second bedroom upstairs hosts two twins that easily convert to a king bed if requested. Kids also really enjoy this room as there is a small climbing wall to add to the fun. On the ground floor is where the very private queen bedroom with second bathroom adjacent to the studio/movie room is located. Enjoy the deep tubs in either of the bathrooms and the slate rain fall shower in the main bathroom.

The Logistics
There is a land line for your use, domestic and US calls are on us. Please bring your calling card for international calling. There is no cell phone service in this area (some US guests receive a signal from across the straight). Wifi service is available in the house and is serviced by satellite. The internet satellite internet connection (internet only) works quite well however can be slow near the end of the month during heavily used data months.
